Friends,

There appears to be a problem with the link I sent you earlier for worship tomorrow:
Please try this one (even though it looks to be identical).

Sorry for the confusion.
Please don't forget to join for coffee and chat and pray for the people of Leicester.
Best wishes, Andrew

After worship coffee & chat is available 10.30 — 11.15 a.m. at:

Meeting ID: 822 6816 1575
Password: 386541
I would be lovely to see you. Please join us.

We are mindful that just a few miles away, the people of Leicester are experiencing a very different weekend. Even today, I was attending a 'zoom' meeting with colleagues and friends who have effectively been made housebound again. Churches Together in Leicestershire have asked that we hold them in pray (see attached sheet). We also note that the Zimbabwe was not listed as exempted countries, therefore Noel and his family will need to quarantine for 2 weeks upon their arrival.

With every blessing,
Andrew

Dear friends,Thought for the Day.I am so pleased that todays 'Women of the Bible' considers Shiprah & Puah. As Margret Tuffin correctly notes, they are often the over looked heroines of the Old testament. Without their fortitude, ingenuity, bravery and audacity one of the most significant characters of the bible would not have survived beyond childbirth. Thank you Margret for you...

Dear friends in Christ,Rev. Neil Clarke has established a revised pattern of 'Daily Thoughts' to incorporate a 'Hymn of Day' theme. Inspired by this, I share with you my thoughts and reflections on the great Wesleyan Methodist anthem 'And can it be..?' including a recording made at Wesley Chapel, London.
