Thoughts for the Day 10th – 14th August

Dear friends,

I do hope that you are all well and enjoying the warmth of this summer period. Perhaps just a bit too hot to get sleep, but great to see gardens buzzing with life.

Many people have contributed to daily worship since March. I know that these daily messages have been gratefully received. After a marathon period of preparing Thoughts for the Day, we are easing the load from Local Preachers and Ministers for a few weeks. I know that you look forward to starting your day with prayer. I have recorded the 'Prayers in the Morning' section of the Methodist Worship Book in a form that enables us to 'share' responses and hear the readings.

I enclose a copy of the pages from Methodist Worship Book for you to follow. Only print these if you are not able to use the video recordings. The playlists for each day reflect the changing materials indicated in Methodist Worship Book.
