Thought for the Day July 30th

Dear friends,

Help is always at hand. I am having some technical problems with the video I have prepared to Thursday. Sometimes it is simply better to let a night of sleep resolve the problem. I am so grateful that Maureen Johnson has already prepared her thought for Friday--so I am bringing it forward a day. Don't worry if you hear 'Friday', think 'Thursday'. Maureen, thank you for reminding us that we can pray with conviction and confidence. It is a joy to see you looking so well.

Every best wish,
Andrew

Dear friends,Thought for the Day.I am so pleased that todays 'Women of the Bible' considers Shiprah & Puah. As Margret Tuffin correctly notes, they are often the over looked heroines of the Old testament. Without their fortitude, ingenuity, bravery and audacity one of the most significant characters of the bible would not have survived beyond childbirth. Thank you Margret for you...

Dear friends in Christ,Rev. Neil Clarke has established a revised pattern of 'Daily Thoughts' to incorporate a 'Hymn of Day' theme. Inspired by this, I share with you my thoughts and reflections on the great Wesleyan Methodist anthem 'And can it be..?' including a recording made at Wesley Chapel, London.
