Thought for the Day 15th June

Home » News » Thought for the Day 15th June

Dear friends,

Did you watch Rouge One (ITV Sunday evening)? This is quickly becoming one of my favourites in the Stars Wars series. It has given me an evening of relaxation. What a marvellous weekend of hot weather we have just experienced. Apart from working, pottering in the garden, Fiona & i have enjoyed walks by the lakes at Thrapston and a circular amble around Wicksteed Park. What have you done?

Thanks are given to Maureen Johnson for recording our thought for this day.
The transcript is enclosed and you can watch by following these links:

Thank you Alan & Maureen for collating these.

In response to daily news and direct requests, it is clear that we need to give some thought to how and when we might have a peaceful and informative conversation regarding racism and prejudice. We continue to pray for peace, healing, and accord for all.

Best wishes,
Andrew

Good morning everyone, I am looking forward to learning about Brother Roger of Taize knowing how much Ruth has gained from her visits to the Taize community and how she has brought their music into our worship, giving us time for reflection and a chance to "listen" rather than "do" as we gather. For those of you who use Zoom can I just remind you of the opportunity to join...
