Laurie Cook — alive and well.
Laurie is a long serving Local Preacher who moved from this area to Market Harborough some time ago. He phoned me on Saturday to assure me that he is very much still alive. He was surprised that Methodist Recorder had incorrectly listed him amongst the recently departed Preachers. We are not sure how this could have occurred. Apologies are being made to Laurie, though he was particularly cheerful, even amused. To quote Oscar Wild 'Reports of my death are very much exaggerated'.
