Webteam: December 2020
Dear Sisters and Brothers in Christ,
Rejoice! Today, every church in this Circuit will be open for worship. Our thoughts are with friends at Burton Latimer and Cottingham returning to their premises for the first time since March. We thank the many people who have worked to ensure the availability of our premises during this pandemic, and show our appreciation to Fiona for her co-ordination of seat bookings and other administrative tasks.
We are blessed today with a recording of worship led by Joan Gray at Cornerstone last week. Joan prepared this as a 'Local Arrangement' and we are thrilled to share this time of worship with you. A script for reading/printing is enclosed. The video recording can be found at:
Thanks to Steve Hone too for the recording.
The Memorial Service for 'those we have loved but see no longer' will be lived streamed at 6 p.m.
This end by 6.30 p.m. We will light candles in memory of all those names have been given to me. Please contact me by email firstname.lastname@example.org or phone 07985 308637 before noon 13th December if you wish to include the names of your loved ones. I will be joined by Rev. Good morning, here we are into the week leading up to Christmas Day. Sadly for many plans have had to be changed/put on hold for the festivities but as Sandra Collins suggested to us at Rothwell on Sunday morning, this may give us time to "just be" and open our hearts to Jesus as we give thanks for his coming to earth in flesh. If you follow the plan closely you would have seen my name...
