Some Thoughts For Passion Sunday

Home » News » Some Thoughts For Passion Sunday

To all members of the Circuit & Church Family.

Have you turned your clocks forward an hour? Spring is here. Must be, there's a howling wind and freezing temperatures.

I felt inspired this morning to put together some thoughts for Passion Sunday. These are attached. Forgive me that the images today are, once more, from Central and use the liturgy they followed in past weeks. In the coming weeks I will share photos from all of the Circuit Churches.

Tomorrow, I have a reflection from Ruth Fitch to distribute. Phil Rice has prepared a service for Palm Sunday. Although the plans for worship in Holy Week have been abandoned, I intend to produce a daily reflection on one of the Stations of the Cross starting this Tuesday. As I don't want to unnecessarily fill your 'in-boxes', please let me know if you would prefer to be removed from my mailing list or just press 'delete'.

Be safe. Blessings,
Andrew

Dear friends,Thought for the Day.I am so pleased that todays 'Women of the Bible' considers Shiprah & Puah. As Margret Tuffin correctly notes, they are often the over looked heroines of the Old testament. Without their fortitude, ingenuity, bravery and audacity one of the most significant characters of the bible would not have survived beyond childbirth. Thank you Margret for you...
