St Giles Church is a thriving and lively community of Christians, worshipping and working together to share the Gospel. We are able to enjoy a wide spectrum of styles of worship together and in 2009 we celebrated 40 years as a joint Anglican (Church of England) and Methodist Church. Christians have worshipped here for at least 1,000 years and we seek to continue to show God's love in our community today and to work together with our sister churches in nearby villages, as well as other groups within our town.

Desborough is a growing Northamptonshire town of around 11,000 people, between Kettering and Market Harborough. It has a proud heritage and a strong sense of community.

There are many organisations attached to St Giles, catering for the social and spiritual needs of a wide range of people of all ages and backgrounds. Our Community Centre, near to the church, is the base for most of these groups and is well-used by many in the local community.

Worship

St Giles is open for Morning Prayer every weekday morning from 9.15 to 10.00 am, except Wednesdays when we meet to celebrate Holy Communion at 10am. You are very welcome to join us.

Our Sunday Worship takes place at 8am Holy Communion (said) and 10am Family Communion – with Children's Groups during term-time – although the first Sunday of each month is Parade Service.
